Pteroceltis tatarinowii

A deciduous tree, belongs to Pteroceltis (Ulmaceae), which isnow under national protection ofthird class. P. tatarinowii is a rarespecies endemic in China. Moreover, the bark fiber is main raw material formaking paper.


P. tatarinowii is widely distributedin Dabie Mountain, including Yingshan county (Taohuachong town, Wujiashan, Caopandi town, Zhangjiazui town), Macheng city(Sanhekou town), and Hongan county (Tiantai Mountain).
