Wolonggang(Sleeping-dragon Hills)

Wolonggangwith a total length of about 3,000m, is also named Niujiling (Ox’back Ridge),which looks like a sleeping ox from the high and a sleeping dragon from theside. The rock mass is Late Cretaceous (65 Ma) fine-grained biotite adamellite, which is formed by the uplift during the tectonic movement. With thedragon-like spine, precipitous ridge, jagged rocks of grotesque shapes, denselycovered wondrous pines and hidden caves, the whole hill just resembles asleeping dragon in the mountain, which is remarkably true to life.
